     Bernadette Mary Lees was born posthumously on 11 April 1923.1 She was the daughter of Bernard Percy Turnbull Lees and Mary Radcliffe.2 She married, firstly, F/Lt. Richard Osborne Curtis, son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Curtis, on 3 July 1943.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Gordon Robin Kingston Lyon on 3 November 1956.1 She died on 30 October 2010 at age 87 at Bunbury, Western Australia, Australia.3
     She gained the rank of 3rd Officer in the Women's Royal Naval Service, during the Second World War.1 From 3 July 1943, her married name became Curtis. From 3 November 1956, her married name became Lyon. She graduated from Murdoch University, Western Australia, Australia, in 1981 with a Master of Applied Psychology, Clinical and Educational.1 She lived in 2003 at Lot 9, Wilderness Road, Prevelly, Western Australia, AustraliaG.1

     F/Lt. Richard Osborne Curtis was born circa 1922.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Curtis.3 He married Bernadette Mary Lees, daughter of Bernard Percy Turnbull Lees and Mary Radcliffe, on 3 July 1943.1 He died on 20 January 1944, killed in action.
     He lived Trokes Coppice.1 He fought in the Second World War. He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserves.

     Lt.-Col. Gordon Robin Kingston Lyon was born on 3 July 1925.2 He married Bernadette Mary Lees, daughter of Bernard Percy Turnbull Lees and Mary Radcliffe, on 3 November 1956.1 He died on 18 July 2017 at age 92.2
     He gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel at KuwaitG.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 3rd Carabiniers.1 He retired from the military, with the rank of Major.2

     Leila Mary Heaton was born on 19 June 1918 at Tavistock, Devon, England.2 She was the daughter of David Rimington Heaton and Louisa Marie Freeman.1,2 She married Edward Henry Harold Ward, 7th Viscount Bangor, son of Lt.-Col. Maxwell Richard Crosbie Ward, 6th Viscount Bangor and Agnes Elizabeth Hamilton, on 12 November 1947.1 She and Edward Henry Harold Ward, 7th Viscount Bangor were divorced in 1951.3 She died on 23 February 1959 at age 40.1
     From 12 November 1947, her married name became Ward.1 After her marriage, Leila Mary Heaton was styled as Viscountess Bangor on 17 November 1950.
