Major William Maurice Copland du Quesne Caillard was the son of Camille Felix Désiré Caillard and Amy Ursula Copland. He married Lady Gertrude Alice Temple-Gore-Langton, daughter of William Stephen Temple-Gore-Langton, 4th Earl Temple of Stowe and Helen Mabel Graham-Montgomery, on 15 December 1904.1 He died on 18 November 1955.1
He gained the rank of Major in the 7th Dragoon Guards.1
