     Christian Eleanor Margaret Goschen was the daughter of Sir Harry William Neville Goschen, 1st Bt. and Christian Grant. She married Claud Douglas-Pennant, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Archibald Charles Henry Douglas-Pennant and Hon. Harriet Ella Gifford, on 8 June 1922.1 She died on 10 February 1968.1
     From 8 June 1922, her married name became Douglas-Pennant.1

     Sir Harry William Neville Goschen, 1st Bt. was born in 1865. He was the son of Henry Goschen and Augusta Eleanor Shakerley.1 He married Christian Grant in 1893.
     Sir Harry William Neville Goschen, 1st Bt. also went by the nick-name of Harry.2 He was created 1st Baronet Goschen, [U.K.] in 1927.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1940.2

     Henry Douglas-Pennant was born on 13 June 1925.1 He was the son of Claud Douglas-Pennant and Christian Eleanor Margaret Goschen.2 He married Pamela Le Marchant, daughter of Alfred Gaspard Le Marchant and Turdis Mortensen, on 26 October 1957.3 He died in 1986.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1946 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1

     Pamela Le Marchant was born on 12 July 1933.1 She was the daughter of Alfred Gaspard Le Marchant and Turdis Mortensen. She married, firstly, Henry Douglas-Pennant, son of Claud Douglas-Pennant and Christian Eleanor Margaret Goschen, on 26 October 1957.1 She married, secondly, Very Rev. Sir Patrick Reynold Mitchell, son of Lt.-Col. Percy Reynolds Mitchell and Constance Margaret Kerby, in 1988.2 She died on 12 May 2016 at age 82.3
     From 26 October 1957, her married name became Douglas-Pennant.2 From 1988, her married name became Mitchell.2 She lived at Wolford Lodge, Dunkeswell, Honiton, Devon, EnglandG.1

     Brig.-Gen. Sir Edward Thomas Le Marchant, 4th Bt. was born on 23 October 1871.2 He was the son of Sir Henry Denis Le Marchant, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Sophia Strutt.2 He married Evelyn Brooks Knowles, daughter of Robert Millington Knowles and Hon. Alice Crawshaw, on 11 May 1899.2 He died on 17 November 1953 at age 82.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He fought in the occupation of Crete between 1897 and 1898.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Reserve of Officers.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.2 He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Le Marchant, of Chobham Place, Surrey [U.K., 1841] on 29 April 1922.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire in 1930.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1943.2

     Evelyn Brooks Knowles was born in 1877.1 She was the daughter of Robert Millington Knowles and Hon. Alice Crawshaw.1 She married Brig.-Gen. Sir Edward Thomas Le Marchant, 4th Bt., son of Sir Henry Denis Le Marchant, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Sophia Strutt, on 11 May 1899.2 She died on 25 September 1957.
     Her married name became Le Marchant. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire.2
