     Mary Elizabeth Dawson was the daughter of Sydney Dawson.1 She married, firstly, Allen Wilson before 1952.1 She married, secondly, Major Edward Robert Francis Compton, son of Lord Alwyne Frederick Compton and Mary Evelyn Violet Vyner, on 23 October 1952.1 She died on 23 June 1957.1
     From before 1952, her married name became Wilson.1 Her married name became Compton.

Alexander Haldane Farquharson of Invercauld and Zoë Caroline Musgrave.2 She married Major Edward Robert Francis Compton, son of Lord Alwyne Frederick Compton and Mary Evelyn Violet Vyner, on 3 July 1918.1 She died on 17 March 1950.1
     Her married name became Compton. She was with the London HQ, Women's Volunteer Service during the Second World War.1

     Lt.-Col. Alexander Bertram Lindsay was born on 11 December 1872.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Alexander Hadden Lindsay and Isabella Mary Frances Harris.2 He married Gladys Hutton, daughter of William Hutton, in 1904.1 He died on 16 September 1914 at age 41.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 2nd KEO Gurkhas, Indian Army.1

     Maj.-Gen. Sir John Ponsonby was born on 25 March 1866.1 He was the son of General Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Frederick Ponsonby and Hon. Mary Elizabeth Bulteel.1 He married Mary Robley, daughter of Thomas Robley, on 21 December 1935.1 He died on 26 March 1952 at age 86, without issue.1
     He fought in the First Matabele War between 1893 and 1894.1 He fought in the Uganda Mutiny in 1898.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1902.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches 7 times, and was wounded.1 He was commander of the 2nd Guards Brigade between 1915 and 1917.2 He was commander of the 40th Division between 1917 and 1918.2 He was awarded the Commander, Order of Leopold of Belgium.1 He was awarded the Officier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre Belgian.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre French.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Coldstream Guards.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Colonel between 1925 and 1939 in the Suffolk Regiment.1
