     Major Robert Emmet was born on 23 October 1871.1 He was the son of Thomas Addis Emmet and Cathrine Rebecca Duncan.2 He married Louise Garland, daughter of James Albert Garland, on 25 November 1896.1 He died on 7 February 1955 at age 83.1
     He gained the rank of 1st Lieutenant in the Troop A, 12th Regiment NANY, U.S. Army.1 He fought in the Puerto Rico Campaign.1 He lived in 1900 at England.1 He was First World War.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1 He lived at Moreton Paddox, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1

     Seymour Berleley Portman, 6th Viscount Portman of Bryanston was born on 19 February 1868.1 He was the son of William Henry Berkeley Portman, 2nd Viscount Portman of Bryanston and Hon. Mary Selina Charlotte FitzWilliam.2 He died on 2 November 1946 at age 78, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 6th Baron Portman of Orchard Portman, co. Somerset [U.K., 1837] on 14 July 1942.1 He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Portman of Bryanston, co. Dorset [U.K., 1873] on 14 July 1942.1

     Gerald William Berkeley Portman, 8th Viscount Portman of Bryanston was born on 20 August 1903.1 He was the son of Gerald Berkeley Portman, 7th Viscount Portman of Bryanston and Dorothy Marie Isolde Sheffield.1 He married, firstly, Marjorie Josephine Bentley Gerrard, daughter of George Bentley Gerrard, on 27 January 1926.1 He and Marjorie Josephine Bentley Gerrard were divorced in 1946.1 He married, secondly, Nancy Maureen Franklin, daughter of Captain Percy Herbert Franklin, on 11 April 1946.1 He died on 3 November 1967 at age 64, without issue.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain between 1940 and 1945 in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He was director of Alliance Assurance.1 He succeeded as the 8th Viscount Portman of Bryanston, co.      From 11 April 1946, her married name became Portman. After her marriage, Nancy Maureen Franklin was styled as Viscountess Portman of Bryanston on 3 September 1948.
