     Major Hon. Robert Baillie-Hamilton was born on 8 October 1828.1 He was the son of George Baillie-Hamilton, 10th Earl of Haddington and Georgina Markham.1 He married Mary Gavin Pringle, daughter of Sir John Pringle of Stichill, 5th Bt. and Lady Elizabeth Maitland Campbell, on 18 July 1861.1 He died on 5 September 1891 at age 62, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 44th Regiment.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Berkwickshire between 1874 and 1880.1

     Mary Gavin Pringle was born on 28 July 1832 at Stitchel, Roxburghshire, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Sir John Pringle of Stichill, 5th Bt. and Lady Elizabeth Maitland Campbell.1,3 She married Major Hon. Robert Baillie-Hamilton, son of George Baillie-Hamilton, 10th Earl of Haddington and Georgina Markham, on 18 July 1861.1 She died on 11 April 1911 at age 78, without issue.3
     From 18 July 1861, her married name became Baillie-Hamilton.

     Sir John Pringle of Stichill, 5th Bt. was born on 20 January 1784.1 He was baptised on 20 January 1784 at Stitchel, Roxburghshire, ScotlandG.2 He was the son of Sir James Pringle of Stichill, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Macleod.3 He married, firstly, Emilia Anne Macleod, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Norman MacLeod, 23rd of MacLeod and Sarah Stackhouse, on 2 June 1809.1 He married, secondly, Lady Elizabeth Maitland Campbell, daughter of Lt.-Gen. John Campbell, 1st Marquess of Breadalbane and Mary Turner Gavin, on 19 October 1831.3 He died on 15 June 1869 at age 85.3
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Pringle, of Stichill [N.S., 1683] on 7 April 1809.3

     Commander Hon. Henry Baillie-Hamilton was born on 20 August 1832.1 He was the son of George Baillie-Hamilton, 10th Earl of Haddington and Georgina Markham.1 He married Hon. Harriet Frances Scott, daughter of Henry Francis Hepburne-Scott, 7th Lord Polwarth and Lady Georgina Baillie, on 17 October 1872.1 He died on 20 November 1895 at age 63.1
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He was awarded the Knight, Order of the Medjidie.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berwickshire.1
