Sir Herbert Maurice Huntington-Whiteley, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Herbert Maurice Huntington-Whiteley, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 July 1896.2 He is the son of Sir Herbert James Huntington-Whiteley, 1st Bt. and Florence Kate Huntington.3 He married Lady Pamela Margaret Baldwin, daughter of Stanley Baldwin, 1st Earl Baldwin of Bewdley and Lucy Ridsdale, on 2 April 1919.2 He died on 18 May 1975 at age 78.2
     Sir Herbert Maurice Huntington-Whiteley, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Maurice.1 He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Huntington-Whiteley. He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.2 He was registered as a Member, Institute of Electrical Engineering (M.I.E.E.)2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Huntington-Whiteley, of Grimley, co. Worcester [U.K., 1918] on 22 January 1936.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Worcestershire in 1968.2
