     Ferdinando Dudley Lea Smith was baptised on 15 June 1834.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Ferdinando Smith and Elizabeth Grazebrook.1 He married Amy Sophia Leigh, daughter of James Heath Leigh and Frances Mosley, on 23 February 1865.1 He died on 8 February 1905 at age 70.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Queen's Own Worcestershire Yeomanry.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Staffordshire in 1860.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Worcestershire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Worcestershire.1 He lived at Halesowen Grange, Worcestershire, EnglandG.1

     Amy Sophia Leigh is the daughter of James Heath Leigh and Frances Mosley.2 She married Ferdinando Dudley Lea Smith, son of Lt.-Col. Ferdinando Smith and Elizabeth Grazebrook, on 23 February 1865.1
     Her married name became Smith.

     Lt.-Col. Ferdinando Dudley William Lea Smith, 12th Baron Dudley was born on 4 April 1872.1 He was the son of Ferdinando Dudley Lea Smith and Amy Sophia Leigh.1 He married Sybil Augusta Coventry, daughter of Reverend Henry William Coventry and Leila Louisa Colquitt-Craven, on 3 February 1904.2 He died on 5 December 1936 at age 64.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 6th Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment.1 He succeeded as the 12th Baron Dudley [E., 1440] on 9 May 1916, when its abeyance was terminated in his favour.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Worcestershire.1

     Her married name became Smith.

     Ferdinando Dudley Henry Lea Smith, 13th Baron Dudley was born on 18 June 1910.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Ferdinando Dudley William Lea Smith, 12th Baron Dudley and Sybil Augusta Coventry.1 He married Kirsten Laura Hedvig Albrechtsen, daughter of Lars Anton Albrechtsen, in July 1941.1 He and Kirsten Laura Hedvig Albrechtsen were divorced in 1965.1 He died on 19 April 1972 at age 61, without issue.1
     He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 8th Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment.1 He succeeded as the 13th Baron Dudley [E., 1440] on 5 December 1936.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1

Ferdinando Dudley William Lea Smith, 12th Baron Dudley and Sybil Augusta Coventry.1 She married, firstly, Guy Raymond Hill Wallace, son of Maj.-Gen. Hill Wallace, on 22 August 1929.1 She married, secondly, Charles Anthony Crosse Hamilton on 22 February 1980.1 She died on 27 May 2002 at age 95.1
     From 22 August 1929, her married name became Wallace. She succeeded as the 14th Baroness Dudley [E., 1440] on 19 April 1972.1 She was an artist.1 From 22 February 1980, her married name became Hamilton.

     Guy Raymond Hill Wallace was the son of Maj.-Gen. Hill Wallace.1 He married Barbara Amy Felicity Smith, Baroness Dudley, daughter of Lt.-Col. Ferdinando Dudley William Lea Smith, 12th Baron Dudley and Sybil Augusta Coventry, on 22 August 1929.1 He died on 16 March 1967.1

She was the daughter of William Chaloner and Mary Finny.1,2 She married Edward Lascelles, 1st Earl of Harewood, son of Edward Lascelles and Frances Ball, on 12 May 1761 at St. George Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.3 She died on 22 February 1805 at age 62.1
     Her married name became Lascelles. After her marriage, Anne Chaloner was styled as Baroness Harwood on 18 June 1796.
