     Oskar Carl Augustus Bernadotte, Count af Wisborg was born on 15 November 1859 at Drottningholm Castle, Stockholm, Sweden.1 He was the son of Oskar II Bernadotte, King of Sweden and Sophie Wilhelmine Marianna Henriette Prinzessin von Nassau-Weilburg. He married Ebba Henrietta Munck af Filkila, daughter of Colonel Carl Jacob Munck af Filkila and Henrietta Cederström, Baroness Cederström, on 15 March 1888 at Bournemouth, Dorset, England.1 He died on 4 October 1953 at age 93 at Stockholm, Sweden.1
     He gained the title of Prince Oskar Bernadotte on 15 March 1888.1 He gained the title of Count af Wisborg [Luxemburg] on 2 April 1892.1 He gained the title of Prince Oskar of Sweden.1 He gained the title of Duke of Götland.1
