     Monika Kristina Margaretha Bernadotte, Countess Bernadotte was born on 5 March 1948 at Salzburg, Austria.1 She is the daughter of Carl Johan Arthur Bernadotte, Prince of Sweden and Elin Kerstin Margareta Wijkmark. She married Johan Bonde, son of Greve Peder Bonde and Ylva Jensen, on 16 January 1976 at Stockholm, Sweden.2 She and Johan Bonde were divorced in 1997.2
     Monika Kristina Margaretha Bernadotte, Countess Bernadotte gained the title of Countess Bernadotte.1 She was adopted by Carl Johan Arthur Bernadotte, Prince of Sweden and Elin Kerstin Margareta Wijkmark.3 From 16 January 1976, her married name became Bonde.2
