     Monika Kristina Margaretha Bernadotte, Countess Bernadotte was born on 5 March 1948 at Salzburg, Austria.1 She is the daughter of Carl Johan Arthur Bernadotte, Prince of Sweden and Elin Kerstin Margareta Wijkmark. She married Johan Bonde, son of Greve Peder Bonde and Ylva Jensen, on 16 January 1976 at Stockholm, Sweden.2 She and Johan Bonde were divorced in 1997.2
     She gained the title of Countess Bernadotte.1 She was adopted by Carl Johan Arthur Bernadotte, Prince of Sweden and Elin Kerstin Margareta Wijkmark.3 From 16 January 1976, her married name became Bonde.2

     Christian Bernadotte, Count Bernadotte was born on 3 December 1949.1 He is the son of Carl Johan Arthur Bernadotte, Prince of Sweden and Elin Kerstin Margareta Wijkmark. He married Marianne Jenny, daughter of Jacques Jenny and Caroline Yvonne Venter, on 13 September 1980 at Zürich, Switzerland.2
     He gained the title of Count Bernadotte.1 He was adopted by Carl Johan Arthur Bernadotte, Prince of Sweden and Elin Kerstin Margareta Wijkmark.3

She married Hans-Jorg Baenkler, son of Willy Baenkler and Hilde Schrott, on 28 March 1967 at Litzelstetten, Germany, in a civil marriage, They were remarreid in a religious ceremony on 31 March 1967. She and Hans-Jorg Baenkler were divorced on 30 August 1974. She married, secondly, Björn Brodin in 2000.2
     She gained the title of Countess Bernadotte.1 Karin Cecilia Bernadotte, Countess Bernadotte also went by the nick-name of Cia. From 28 March 1967, her married name became Baenkler. From 2000, her married name became Brodin.2
