Charles Henry Wilson, 1st Baron Nunburnholme1

     Charles Henry Wilson, 1st Baron Nunburnholme was born on 22 April 1833.2 He was the son of Thomas Wilson and Susannah West.3,2 He married Florence Jane Helen Wellesley, daughter of Colonel William Henry Charles Wellesley and Jane Malet Hayden, on 5 October 1871.1 He died on 28 October 1907 at age 74.2
     He held the office of Sheriff of Hull in 1870.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Kingston-upon-Hull between 1874 and 1885.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Kingston-upon-Hull West between 1885 and 1905.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the East Riding, Yorkshire.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the East Riding, Yorkshire.2 He was created 1st Baron Nunburnholme, of the City of Kingston upon Hull [U.K.] on 16 January 1906.1

     Alice Jane Wellesley was the daughter of Colonel William Henry Charles Wellesley and Jane Malet Hayden.2 She married Charles Edward Sanderson on 3 September 1873.1 She died on 2 May 1936.1

     Ethel Caroline Jane Wellesley was the daughter of Colonel William Henry Charles Wellesley and Jane Malet Hayden.2,3 She married, firstly, Major Bernard Hamilton Gunston, son of Thomas Bernard Gunston and Marion Wilson, on 31 May 1883.1 She married, secondly, Sir George Francis Fleetwood Cradock-Hartopp, 8th Bt., son of Sir John William Cradock-Hartopp, 4th Bt. and Charlotte Frances Howard, on 28 July 1909.1 She died on 8 May 1953.1
     From 31 May 1883, her married name became Gunston. From 28 July 1909, her married name became Cradock-Hartopp.

     Major Bernard Hamilton Gunston was the son of Thomas Bernard Gunston and Marion Wilson.2 He married Ethel Caroline Jane Wellesley, daughter of Colonel William Henry Charles Wellesley and Jane Malet Hayden, on 31 May 1883.1 He died on 2 June 1908.3
     He gained the rank of Major in the 5th Dragoon Guards.3
