     Edward Julian George Asquith, 2nd Earl of Oxford and Asquith was born on 22 April 1916. He is the son of Raymond Asquith and Katharine Frances Horner. He married Anne Mary Celestine Palairet, daughter of Michael Palairet and Mary de Vere Studd, on 28 August 1947.
     Edward Julian George Asquith, 2nd Earl of Oxford and Asquith also went by the nick-name of 'Trim'. He succeeded to the title of 2nd Viscount Asquith [U.K., 1925] in 1928. He succeeded to the title of 2nd Earl of Oxford and Asquith [U.K., 1925] in 1928.
