Gabrielle Prinzessin von Wrede was born on 26 June 1895 at Ellingen, Bayern, Germany. She is the daughter of Philipp Fürst von Wrede and Anna Prinzessin von Lobkowicz. She married Robert Prosper Herzog von Arenberg, son of Jean Herzog von Arenberg and Sophie Herzogin von Arenberg, on 20 March 1922 in a civil marriage. Gabrielle and Robert Prosper were remarried in a religious ceremony on 21 March 1922. She died on 14 November 1971 at age 76.
