Rosemary Myra Vane was born on 4 November 1921.1 She is the daughter of Christopher William Vane, 10th Baron Barnard of Barnard's Castle and Sylvia Mary Straker.1 She married Sir Angus Josslyn Gore-Booth, 8th Bt. on 14 August 1948.1 She and Sir Angus Josslyn Gore-Booth, 8th Bt. were divorced in 1954.1
     From 14 August 1948, her married name became Gore-Booth.1 She was a member of the Royal District Council of Barnard's Castle in 1961.1 She lived in 1999 at The White House, Gainford, Darlington, County Durham, England.1
