     Dimitri IV Donskoi Rurik, Grand Duke of Moscow was born in 1350.1 He was the son of Ivan II Rurik, Grand Duke of Moscow and Theodosia of Briansk.1 He married Eudoxia of Suzdal, daughter of Dimitri III Rurik, Grand Duke of Moscow, in 1366.1 He died in 1389.1
     Dimitri IV Donskoi Rurik, Grand Duke of Moscow gained the title of Prince of Moscow in 1359.2 He succeeded to the title of Grand Duke Dimitri IV of Moscow in 1362.1

     John VIII Paleologus, Emperor of Constantinople was born in 1391.1 He was the son of Manuel II, Emperor of Constantinople.2 He married, firstly, Anne Rurik, daughter of Basil I Rurik, Grand Duke of Moscow and Sophia of Lithuania, in 1411.1 He married, secondly, Maria Comnene, daughter of Alexios IV Comnenos, Emperor of Trebizond and Theodora Kantakouzene, in September 1427 at Constantinople, Turkey.3 He died in 1448.1

     Basil II Rurik, Grand Duke of Moscow also went by the nick-name of Basil 'the Blind'.2 He succeeded to the title of Grand Duke Basil II of Moscow in 1425.1
