     Josef Wenceslas Fürst von und zu Liechtenstein was born on 9 August 1696 at Prague, Czech Republic.1 He was the son of Philip Erasmus von Liechtenstein and Christiane von Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rochefort.1 He married Anne Marie von Liechtenstein, daughter of Anton Florian Prinz von Liechtenstein and Eleanor von Thurn, in 1718.1 He died on 10 February 1772 at age 75.1
     Josef Wenceslas Fürst von und zu Liechtenstein succeeded to the title of Fürst von und zu Liechtenstein in 1748.2
