     Baron Wladyslaw Josef Pilars was born on 3 March 1874 at Opatowek, PolandG.1 He was the son of Eduard Gustav Pilars and Waleria Ewa Grzankowska.1 He was baptised on 19 March 1874 at Opatowek, PolandG.1 He married Antonia Maria Josefa Clementine Oer, daughter of Friedrich Edmund Anton Freiherr von Oer and Gabriele Maria Barbara Gräfin Khuen von Belasi, on 9 May 1898.1 He died on 22 November 1952 at age 78 at Chorzow, PolandG.1
     He was also known as Ladislaus Pilars de Pilar.1 He was created Baron Pilars in 1915.1 He was a professor of literature at Warsaw, PolandG.1 He wrote an epic verse about Napoleon. He inherited a manufacturing company for safes. He asked the Russian emperor for recognition of the nobility. Supposedly the title Baron was recognized in 1915 by the Zar (Wladyslawsson, Eduard, told as that he saw when a letter from Russia arrived with the nobilitation). With the demand for the nobilitation he also asked the Zar for the permission to make a demand to Germany to get German nationality (for himself, his wife and his children). This demand was accepted as well.1
