     Robert Persse was born circa 1689 at Roxborough House, County Galway, Ireland.2 He was the son of Henry Persse and Mary Stratford.1,3 He married Elizabeth Parsons, daughter of William Parsons and Martha Pigott, on 21 February 1727 at Ireland.2 He died on 15 May 1781.2
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway in 1742.3 He lived at Roxborough, County Galway, Ireland.3

     Elizabeth Parsons was born circa 1705 at Ireland.2 She was the daughter of William Parsons and Martha Pigott.3,4,5 She married Robert Persse, son of Henry Persse and Mary Stratford, on 21 February 1727 at Ireland.2 She died on 27 June 1768.6,7
      From 21 February 1727, her married name became Persse.2
