Macredy, on 10 December 1885.1 He married Lillian Walters Davies, daughter of Rochfort Davies, in 1893.1 He died on 6 December 1897 at age 45.1
     Lt.-Col. Robert Ambrose Cecil King gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.1
