Sir Francis Seymour Haden was born on 16 September 1818.2 He was the son of Charles Thomas Haden and Emma Harrison.2 He married Deborah Delane Whistler, daughter of George Washington Whistler and Mary R. Swift, in 1847.2 He died on 1 June 1910 at age 91.2

Eleanor Smart was born circa 1742.1 She married Henry Frederick Carteret, 1st Baron Carteret of Hawnes, son of Thomas Thynne, 2nd Viscount Weymouth and Lady Louisa Carteret, on 9 July 1810 at Hawnes, Bedfordshire, England, after having been his mistress for 43 years.1 She died on 20 March 1817.1
As a result of her marriage, Eleanor Smart was styled as Baroness Carteret of Hawnes on 9 July 1810. From 9 July 1810, her married name became Carteret.1

George Thynne, 2nd Baron Carteret of Hawnes was born on 23 January 1770.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Thynne, 1st Marquess of Bath and Lady Elizabeth Cavendish-Bentinck.1 He married Hon. Harriet Courtenay, daughter of Sir William Courtenay, 2nd Viscount Courtenay of Powderham Castle and Frances Clack, on 9 May 1797 at Grosvenor Street, London, England.1 He died on 19 February 1838 at age 68 at Dalkeith Palace, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, without issue.1 His will was probated in April 1838.1
