     Mary Beverley Ogle was the daughter of Edmund Ogle and Catherine Beverly St Hill.2,3 She married Colonel Bolton James Alfred Monsell, son of John Samuel Bewlay Monsell and Anne Waller, on 13 August 1868.2,3 She died on 29 September 1929.2,3

     Lt.-Col. John Monsell Christian was born on 5 December 1911.4 He was the son of Admiral Arthur Henry Christian and Geraldine Diana Monsell.2,3 He married, firstly, Bridget Eileen Suzanne Smiley, daughter of Hubert Stewart Smiley and Elsie Hope Gill, on 25 October 1939.4 He married, secondly, Catherine Barford, daughter of Geoffrey William Barford, on 24 March 1954.4 He and Bridget Eileen Suzanne Smiley were divorced in 1951.4 He died in March 1975 at age 63 at Clifferdene House, Rendcomb, Gloucestershire, England.2
     Lt.-Col. John Monsell Christian was Territorial Decoration (T.D.).5 He was Military Cross (M.C.).5 60th Rifles.5 He was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1933 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Green Jackets.2 He fought in the Second World War, in North Africa, Italy and Austria.1 He was National Hunt Steward.2
