     William de Bermingham, 1st Baron Carbery was the son of unknown de Bermingham.1 He married, firstly, Rose FitzGerald, daughter of Gerald FitzGerald and Margaret de la Hyde.1 He married, secondly, Anne Plunket, daughter of Sir John Plunket and Katherine St. Lawrence, on 25 November 1545.1 He died on 17 July 1548 at Dunfert, County Kildare, Ireland.1
