     Laura Elizabeth Amabel Walroad Bruce is the daughter of Downing Bruce.1 She married George Kennedy, son of Sir Arthur Edward Kennedy and Georgina Mildred Macartney, on 2 August 1869.1
     From 2 August 1869, her married name became Kennedy.1

     Admiral Sir Michael Seymour was born on 3 December 1802.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Michael Seymour, 1st Bt. and Jane Hawker.1,2 He married Dora Knighton, daughter of Sir William Knighton, 1st Bt., on 22 June 1829.3 He died on 23 February 1887 at age 84.1
     Admiral Sir Michael Seymour was Commander-in-Chief of the East Indies Station and Canton.3 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1855.3 He was Commander-in-Chief of the Portsmouth.3 He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1859.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Devonport between 1859 and 1863.3
