     Lt.-Cdr. Vere Hugh Seymour was born on 15 May 1889.1 He was the son of William Arthur Seymour and Florence Beatrice Bilton.2 He married, firstly, Anne Gooch, daughter of Frederick Gooch, on 31 December 1910.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Letitia Irvine, daughter of William Irvine, on 17 August 1917.1 He died on 21 October 1955 at age 66, without surviving issue.1
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1 He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1910 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the First World War, France and Ministry of Shipping.1 He gained the rank of,Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1 He fought in the Second World War, in France, North Africa, India and Germany.1

     Margaret Letitia Irvine was the daughter of William Irvine.2 She married Lt.-Cdr. Vere Hugh Seymour, son of William Arthur Seymour and Florence Beatrice Bilton, on 17 August 1917.1 She died on 17 June 1955.1
     Margaret Letitia Irvine also went by the nick-name of Rita.1 From 17 August 1917, her married name became Seymour.

S. F. Ferrers on 16 January 1901.1 She and Captain C. S. F. Ferrers were divorced in 1906.1 She died on 27 April 1912.1
     From 19 October 1887, her married name became Cromwell.1 From 16 January 1901, her married name became Ferrers.1

     Dorothea Seymour was the daughter of Admiral Sir Michael Seymour and Dora Knighton.2 She married Vice-Admiral Donald MacLeod Mackenzie, son of Sir George Stewart Mackenzie of Coul, 7th Bt. and Mary MacLeod, on 20 April 1865.2 She died on 26 May 1901, without issue.1
     From 20 April 1865, her married name became Mackenzie.

Sir George Stewart Mackenzie of Coul, 7th Bt.1

     Sir George Stewart Mackenzie of Coul, 7th Bt. was born on 22 June 1780.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Alexander Mackenzie of Coul, 6th Bt. and Katherine Ramsay.2 He married, firstly, Mary MacLeod, daughter of Donald MacLeod of Geanies, on 8 June 1802.2 He married, secondly, Catherine Jardine, daughter of Sir Henry Jardine of Harwood, on 27 October 1836 at St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands.2 He died in October 1848 at age 68.2
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Mackenzie, of Coul, co. Ross [N.S., 1673] in 1796.2 He was Vice-President of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.2 He was General Officer of the Royal Compnay Archers.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Ross-shire.2 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)2
