     Lt.-Cdr. Vere Hugh Seymour was born on 15 May 1889.¹ He was the son of William Arthur Seymour and Florence Beatrice Bilton.² He married, firstly, Anne Gooch, daughter of Frederick Gooch, on 31 December 1910.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Letitia Irvine, daughter of William Irvine, on 17 August 1917.¹ He died on 21 October 1955 at age 66, without surviving issue.¹
     Lt.-Cdr. Vere Hugh Seymour was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1910 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ He fought in the First World War, France and Ministry of Shipping.¹ He gained the rank of,Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War, in France, North Africa, India and Germany.¹

     Anne Gooch is the daughter of Frederick Gooch.² She married Lt.-Cdr. Vere Hugh Seymour, son of William Arthur Seymour and Florence Beatrice Bilton, on 31 December 1910.¹
     From 31 December 1910, her married name became Seymour.

     Evan Hugh Seymour was born on 13 October 1913.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Cdr. Vere Hugh Seymour and Anne Gooch.² He died on 18 July 1914.¹

     
     William Irvine was in the Bengal Civil Service.¹

     Margaret Letitia Irvine was the daughter of William Irvine.² She married Lt.-Cdr. Vere Hugh Seymour, son of William Arthur Seymour and Florence Beatrice Bilton, on 17 August 1917.¹ She died on 17 June 1955.¹
     Margaret Letitia Irvine also went by the nick-name of Rita.¹ From 17 August 1917, her married name became Seymour.

     Grace Frances Susan Seymour was the daughter of Michael Francis Knighton Seymour and Elizabeth Georgina Frederica Kennedy.² She married, firstly, Arthur John Cromwell on 19 October 1887.¹ She married, secondly, Captain C. S. F. Ferrers on 16 January 1901.¹ She and Captain C. S. F. Ferrers were divorced in 1906.¹ She died on 27 April 1912.¹
     From 19 October 1887, her married name became Cromwell.¹ From 16 January 1901, her married name became Ferrers.¹

     Arthur John Cromwell married Grace Frances Susan Seymour, daughter of Michael Francis Knighton Seymour and Elizabeth Georgina Frederica Kennedy, on 19 October 1887.¹ He died in 1897.¹

     Dorothea Seymour was the daughter of Admiral Sir Michael Seymour and Dora Knighton.² She married Vice-Admiral Donald McLeod Mackenzie, son of Sir George Stewart Mackenzie of Coul, 7th Bt., on 20 April 1865.¹ She died on 26 May 1901, without issue.¹
     From 20 April 1865, her married name became Mackenzie.
