     Reverend Algernon George Lawley, 5th Baron Wenlock was born on 25 December 1857.1 He was the son of Beilby Richard Lawley, 2nd Baron Wenlock and Lady Elizabeth Grosvenor.1 He married Mary Ethel Donaldson, daughter of Sir Stuart Alexander Donaldson and Amelia Cowper, on 16 July 1896.2 He died on 14 June 1931 at age 73, without issue.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He held the office of Prebenary of St. Paul's between 1907 and 1923.3 He was the Vicar between 1913 and 1916 at St. Peter's, Eaton Square, London, EnglandG.3 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Wenlock, of Wenlock, co. Shropshire [U.K., 1839] on 25 July 1918.1 He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Lawley, of Spoonhill, Shropshire [E., 1641] on 25 July 1918.3

     Arthur Lawley, 6th Baron Wenlock was born on 12 November 1860.1 He was the son of Beilby Richard Lawley, 2nd Baron Wenlock and Lady Elizabeth Grosvenor.1 He married Annie Allen Cunard, daughter of Sir Edward Cunard, 2nd Bt. and Mary McEvers, on 15 October 1885.1 He died on 14 June 1932 at age 71 at Freiberg, Sachsen, GermanyG, without survivng male issue.1,2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th (Prince of Wales' Own Royal) Regiment.2 He held the office of Administrator of Matabeleland between 1898 and 1901.3 He held the office of Governor of Western Australia between 1901 and 1902.3 He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of the Transvaal between 1902 and 1905.3 He held the office of Governor of Madras between 1905 and 1911.3 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)3 He was appointed Knight Grand Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (G.C.I.E.)3 He was appointed Knight Grand Commander, Order of the Star of India (G.C.S.I.)3 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Wenlock, of Wenlock, co.      Annie Allen Cunard was born on 21 June 1863.2 She was the daughter of Sir Edward Cunard, 2nd Bt. and Mary McEvers.1,2 She married Arthur Lawley, 6th Baron Wenlock, son of Beilby Richard Lawley, 2nd Baron Wenlock and Lady Elizabeth Grosvenor, on 15 October 1885.1 She died on 29 April 1944 at age 80.1
     From 15 October 1885, her married name became Lawley.1 She was appointed Dame Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.)3 She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)3 After her marriage, Annie Allen Cunard was styled as Baroness Wenlock on 14 June 1931.

     Sir Edward Cunard, 2nd Bt. was born on 1 January 1816.2 He was the son of Sir Samuel Cunard, 1st Bt. and Susan Duffus.3 He married Mary McEvers, daughter of Bache McEvers, in May 1849.2 He died on 6 April 1869 at age 53 at New York, U.S.A., suddenly.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Cunard, of Halifax, Nova Scotia [U.K., 1859] on 28 April 1865.1
