     She was a nun in 1275 at Flines.1

     Mathieu III de Montmorency, Seigneur de Montmorency was the son of Bouchard VI de Montmorency, Seigneur de Montmorency and Isabelle de Laval.2 He married Jeanne de Brienne, Dame de Sens, daughter of Erard de Brienne, Sire de Ramerupt et Venisy and Helisende de Rethel, in 1250.1 He died in 1270 at Tunis, Tunisia.1
     He gained the title of Seigneur de Montmorency.1 Mathieu III de Montmorency, Seigneur de Montmorency also went by the nick-name of 'Premier Christian Baron'.1
