     Emma de Laval was born between 1197 and 1198. She was the daughter of Guy VI de Laval and Havoise de Craon. She married, firstly, Robert II d'Alençon, Comte d'Alençon, son of Jean III de Ponthieu, Comte d'Alençon and Beatrix de Maine, before 1215. She married, secondly, Mathieu de Montmorency before July 1218. She married, thirdly, Jean de Toucy in 1231. She died on 24 April 1264.1
     From before July 1218, her married name became de Montmorency. From 1231, her married name became de Toucy.

     Robert II d'Alençon, Comte d'Alençon was the son of Jean III de Ponthieu, Comte d'Alençon and Beatrix de Maine. He married, firstly, Jeanne de Preuilly after 1191. He married, secondly, Emma de Laval, daughter of Guy VI de Laval and Havoise de Craon, before 1215. He died in 1217.
     Robert II d'Alençon, Comte d'Alençon gained the title of Comte d'Alençon.

     Brigidair Sir Jeffrey Lionel Darell, 8th Bt. was born on 2 October 1919. He married Bridget Mary Adair, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Allan Henry Shafto Adair, 6th Bt., on 30 June 1953.
     Brigidair Sir Jeffrey Lionel Darell, 8th Bt. was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.).1 He gained the title of 8th Baronet Darell.1
