     Mary Clark was born circa 1749.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Clark.1 She married, firstly, Richard Vassall before 1796.1 She married, secondly, Sir Gilbert Affleck, 2nd Bt., son of John Affleck and Sarah Metcalfe, on 18 July 1796.1 She died in February 1835 at South Street, Park Lane, London, England.1
     From before 1796, her married name became Vassall.1 From 18 July 1796, her married name became Affleck.1

     Reverend James Affleck graduated with a Master of Arts.2 He held the office of Prebendary of Southwell.2 He was the Vicar at Finedon, Northamptonshire, England.2

     Lt.-Gen. Sir James Affleck, 3rd Bt. was born on 29 April 1759.1 He was the son of Reverend James Affleck and Mary Proctor.1 He died on 10 August 1833 at age 74 at Dalham Hall, Suffolk, England.1 His will (dated 2 January 1833) was probated on 25 September 1833, at under £39,000.1
     Lt.-Gen. Sir James Affleck, 3rd Bt. gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 16th Dragoons.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Affleck, of Dalham Hall, co. Suffolk [G.B., 1782] on 17 July 1808.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General.1
