     Leila May Courage was born in June 1905 at London, England.2 She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Anthony Courage and Mabel Ada Hewett.1,3 She married Richard Leslie Agnew, son of Walter Agnew and Mabel Wilkin, on 20 July 1927.1 She and Richard Leslie Agnew were divorced in 1946.1 She died in October 1984 at age 79 at London, England.3
      From 20 July 1927, her married name became Agnew.1

     Brig.-Gen. Anthony Courage was born in December 1875 at The Red House, Leatherhead, Surrey, England.2,3 He was the son of Henry Courage and Julia Harriet Knyvett.3 He died on 27 February 1944 at age 68.3
     He lived in 1881 at The Red House, Kingstone Road, Leatherhead, Surrey, England.2,3 He was educated in 1887 at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.3 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918 at France.3 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).1 He was Colonel of the 15th/19th Hussars between 1929 and 1944.1 He fought in the Second World War.3 He lived in 1940 at Williamscote, Nr Banbury, England, Residence.3 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the service of the 15th/19th Hussars.1

     Richard Mark Walter Agnew was born on 17 July 1930.1 He was the son of Richard Leslie Agnew and Leila May Courage.1 He married, firstly, Edwina Ottillie Jane Laycock, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Robert Edward Laycock and Lady Clare Angela Louise Ward, on 23 April 1955.1 He and Edwina Ottillie Jane Laycock were divorced in 1963.1 He married, secondly, Lady Theresa Jane Fox-Strangways, daughter of Edward Henry Charles James Fox-Strangways, 7th Earl of Ilchester and Helen Elizabeth Ward, in January 1972.1 He married, thirdly, Elspeth Macpherson, daughter of Lt.-Col. A. I. Macpherson, in 1992.1 He died on 30 March 1998 at age 67.1
      Richard Mark Walter Agnew usually went by his middle name of Mark.1 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of Malta between 1954 and 1955.1
