     Philip Leslie Agnew was born on 30 June 1863 at Farthingstone, Northamptonshire, England.1,2 He was the son of Sir William Agnew, 1st Bt. and Mary Kenworthy.1 He married Alexandra Georgette Christian, daughter of Ewan Christian and Caroline Whitaker, on 12 November 1889 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone, London, England.2 He died on 5 March 1938 at age 74.1
     Philip Leslie Agnew graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Academy of Music (F.R.A.M.).1 He was a barrister.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1924.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northamptonshire.1 He lived at Littlecourt, Farthingstone, Northamptonshire, England.3

     Ewan Siegfried Agnew was born on 12 July 1893.1 He was the son of Philip Leslie Agnew and Alexandra Georgette Christian.1 He married, firstly, Marion Loughborough, daughter of Frank Loughborough, on 14 February 1917.1 He and Marion Loughborough were divorced in 1929.1 He married, secondly, Constance Mary Newell, daughter of Frederick John Newell, on 23 January 1929.1 He died on 8 March 1930 at age 36.1
     Ewan Siegfried Agnew fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 5th Lancers (Special Reserve).1
