     Maurice fitz Gerald, 3rd Baron of Offaly was the son of Gerald fitz Maurice.1 He married, secondly, Agnes de Valence, daughter of William de Valence, Earl of Pembroke, in 1266.1 He died in 1268.1
     Maurice fitz Gerald, 3rd Baron of Offaly also went by the nick-name of Maurice 'Ruadh' (or in English, the Red).2 He gained the title of 3rd Baron of Offaly [feudal barony].1

     Sir Charles Fox was born on 11 March 1810 at Derby, Derbyshire, England.2 He was the son of Francis Fox.2 He married Mary Brookhouse, daughter of Joseph Brookhouse, in 1830.2 He died on 14 June 1874 at age 64 at Blackheath, Kent, England.2
     Sir Charles Fox was founder of Sir Charles Fox & Sons, civil and consulting engineers.2 He was invested as a Knight on 22 October 1851.2 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.).2 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Asiatic Society (F.R.A.S.).2 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.2
