     Brig.-Gen. Oswald Kesteven Chance was the son of William Edward Chance.1 He married Fanny Isabel Agnew, daughter of Sir George William Agnew, 2nd Bt. and Fanny Bolton, on 4 March 1909.1 He died on 21 September 1935.1
     Brig.-Gen. Oswald Kesteven Chance was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.).1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the service of the 5th Lancers.1
