     Lucy Macfarlane was born circa 1846.1 She was the daughter of Dr. Donald Macfarlane.2 She married Hinton Daniell Stewart, 6th of Strathgrarry, son of Alexander Stewart, 5th of Strathgarry and Janetta Daniell, on 30 September 1869.1 She died on 4 November 1926.1
     From 30 September 1869, her married name became Stewart.

Sir Kenneth Dugald Stewart of Strathgarry, 1st Bt.1

     Sir Kenneth Dugald Stewart of Strathgarry, 1st Bt. was born on 29 March 1882.1 He was the son of Hinton Daniell Stewart, 6th of Strathgrarry and Lucy Macfarlane.2 He married Noel Brodribb, daughter of Kenric Brodribb, on 1 March 1913.1 He died on 19 May 1972 at age 90.1
     He was educated at Trinity College, Glenalmond, Perthshire, Scotland.1 He was a China trader between 1903 and 1919.1 He was British Delegate to the Peking Conference between 1925 and 1926.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1927.1 He was director of the Manchester Ship Canal Company in 1928.1 He was chairman of Lancashire Cotton Corporation between 1928 and 1932.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Manchester in 1940.1 He was chairman of TSB between 1946 and 1966.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1950.1 He was created 1st Baronet Stewart, of Strathgarry, co. Perth [U.K.] on 17 August 1960.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court in 1961.1

     Noel Brodribb was the daughter of Kenric Brodribb.2 She married Sir Kenneth Dugald Stewart of Strathgarry, 1st Bt., son of Hinton Daniell Stewart, 6th of Strathgrarry and Lucy Macfarlane, on 1 March 1913.1 She died on 1 March 1949.1
     From 1 March 1913, her married name became Stewart.

Sir David Brodribb Stewart of Strathgarry, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir David Brodribb Stewart of Strathgarry, 2nd Bt. was born on 20 December 1913.1 He was the son of Sir Kenneth Dugald Stewart of Strathgarry, 1st Bt. and Noel Brodribb.2 He married Barbara Dykes Lloyd, daughter of Harry Dykes Lloyd, on 14 September 1963.1 He died on 17 October 1992 at age 78.1
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He graduated from Manchester College of Art and Technology, Manchester, Lancashire, England, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)1 He gained the rank of Brevet Colonel in the Duke of Lancaster's Own Yeomanry (Territorial Army.)1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He was managing director of Francis Price (Fabrics) Ltd.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Stewart, of Strathgarry, co. Perth [U.K., 1960] on 19 May 1972.1
