     Lieutenant Herman Maitland Agnew was born on 29 March 1876.1 He was the son of Thomas Frederick Andrew Agnew and Julia Pelly.1 He died on 25 December 1901 at age 25 at Tweefontein, South Africa, killed in action.1
     Lieutenant Herman Maitland Agnew fought in the Boer War. He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 34th (Middlesex) Company Imperial Yeonmanry.1

     Percy Reginald Agnew was born on 13 January 1878.1 He was the son of Thomas Frederick Andrew Agnew and Julia Pelly.1 He married Ethel Adelaide Susan Wakefield on 15 June 1909.1 He died on 19 April 1952 at age 74.1
     Percy Reginald Agnew fought in the Boer War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of officer in the service of the Imperial Yeomany.1
