     Madeline Diana Elizabeth Agnew was born on 22 August 1847 at Exton Hall, Rutland, England.2 She was the daughter of Sir Andrew Agnew of Lochnaw, 8th Bt. and Lady Mary Arabella Louisa Noel.1 She married, firstly, Thomas Henry Clifton, son of John Talbot Clifton and Eleanor Cecily Lowther, on 7 February 1867 at North Audley Street, London, England.1,2 She married, secondly, Sir James Hamlyn Williams Williams-Drummond, 4th Bt., son of Sir James Williams-Drummond, 3rd Bt. and Mary Eleanor Hamlyn-Williams, on 30 January 1889 at North Audley Street, London, England.1,2 She died on 19 October 1907 at age 60.1 She was buried on 24 October 1907 at Talley, Carmarthenshire, Wales.2
     From 7 February 1867, her married name became Clifton.1 From 30 January 1889, her married name became Williams-Drummond.1
