     Edith Margaret Agnew was born in 1899.1 She was the daughter of Frank Agnew and Edith Menzies.1 She married, firstly, Commander Sir Thomas Lubbock Beevor, 6th Bt., son of Sir Hugh Reeve Beevor, 5th Bt. and Emily Georgina Foster, on 19 February 1919.1 She married, secondly, Rear-Admiral Robert Alexander Currie, son of John Currie, on 28 August 1944.1 She died in 1985.2
      From 19 February 1919, her married name became Beevor.1 From 28 August 1944, her married name became Currie.1

     Rear-Admiral Robert Alexander Currie was born on 29 April 1905 at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.2 He was the son of John Currie.1 He married Edith Margaret Agnew, daughter of Frank Agnew and Edith Menzies, on 28 August 1944.1 He died on 7 February 1995 at age 89 at Lavenham, Suffolk, England.2
     He was decorated with the award of the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.).1 He lived at Thorpe Morieux Hall, Suffolk, England.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).3 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in the service of the Royal Navy.1
