     Spryridion Mavrojani was the son of Alexander Mavrojani.2 He married Dorothy Aird, daughter of Sir John Aird, 1st Bt. and Sarah Smith, on 8 June 1899.1 He died on 1 March 1930.2
     Spryridion Mavrojani graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.).1 He was a barrister.1 He graduated with the degree of Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 5th Royal Fusiliers.2

     Joseph Maurice Aird was born on 3 November 1904.1 He was the son of Major Sir John Aird, 2nd Bt. and Alicia Ellen Renton.1 He married, firstly, Gwenyth Sheila Dartrey, daughter of Richard Dartrey, on 11 July 1934.1 He and Gwenyth Sheila Dartrey were divorced in 1958.1 He married, secondly, Betty Louise Colson, daughter of John Ralph Colson, on 16 October 1958.1 He died on 26 June 1973 at age 68.1
     Joseph Maurice Aird was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He graduated from Oxford University in 1926 with the degree of Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in the service of the Royal Berkshire Regiment.1
