     Major Sir Stephen Charles De Lancey Aitchison, 3rd Bt. was born on 10 March 1923.1 He was the son of Sir Walter De Lancey Aitchison, 2nd Bt. and Sheena Lennox Fraser.1 He married Elizabeth Anne Milburn Reed, daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Reed, on 2 September 1950.1 He died on 12 May 1958 at age 35.1
     Major Sir Stephen Charles De Lancey Aitchison, 3rd Bt. was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 13th/18th Hussars (Queen Mary's Own).1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Aitchison, of Lemmington, Northumberland [U.K., 1938] on 14 October 1953.1

     Sir Walter De Lancey Aitchison, 2nd Bt. was born on 14 May 1892.1 He was the son of Sir Stephen Harry Aitchison, 1st Bt. and Alice Mary Willson.1,2 He married Sheena Lennox Fraser, daughter of Charles Lennox Fraser, on 18 April 1922.1 He died on 14 October 1953 at age 61.1
     Sir Walter De Lancey Aitchison, 2nd Bt. graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was invested as a Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.).1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Aitchison, of Lemmington, Northumberland [U.K., 1938] on 26 August 1942.1
