     Sir Douglas Alexander, 3rd Bt. graduated from Rice University in 1961 with the degree of Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was Associate Professor of of French at New York University, New York City, New York, U.S.A..1 He was created 3rd Baronet Alexander, of Edgehill, Stamford, Connecticut, U.S.A.
