     Wilbraham Egerton was born on 1 September 1781.1 He was the son of William Tatton Egerton and Mary Wilbraham-Bootle.2,3 He married Elizabeth Sykes, daughter of Sir Christopher Sykes, Bt. and Elizabeth Tatton, on 11 January 1806.3
     Wilbraham Egerton held the office of High Sheriff of Cheshire in 1808.3 He lived at Tatton Park, Cheshire, England.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Chester between 1822 and 1831.3
