     Sir Edmund Anderson, 1st Bt. was born on 10 August 1605 at Redborune, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was the son of William Anderson and Joan Essex.1 He married, firstly, Mary Wood, daughter of Thomas Wood and Mary Boteler, on 3 December 1623 at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Sybilla Egerton, daughter of Sir Rowland Egerton, 1st Bt. and Bridget Grey, on 11 September 1649.1 He died circa January 1660/61.1 He was buried on 19 January 1660/61 at Broughton, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1 His will (dated 2 September 1660) was proven (by probate) on 12 February 1660/61.1
     He was admitted to Gray's Inn on 29 January 1622/23.1 He was created 1st Baronet Anderson, of Broughton, co. Lincoln [England] on 11 December 1660.1

     From 3 December 1623, her married name became Anderson.1 She was mother of ten children.1
