     Marianne Anstruther was the daughter of Sir John Anstruther of that Ilk, 4th and 1st Bt. and Maria Isabella Brice.1 She married James Anstruther on 27 March 1828.1 She died on 19 June 1859.1

     Colonel Robert Anstruther was born on 31 December 1757.1 He was the son of Sir John Anstruther of that Ilk, 2nd Bt. and Janet Fall.1 He married Anne Nairne, daughter of Colonel (?) Nairne, on 9 May 1801.1
     Colonel Robert Anstruther held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Anstruther-Easter.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 68th Regiment.1

     Philip Anstruther was born on 26 May 1802.1 He was the son of Colonel Robert Anstruther and Anne Nairne.1 He married Mary Frances Stewart-Mackenzie, daughter of Rt. Hon. James Alexander Stewart-Mackenzie and Hon. Mary Frederica Elizabeth Mackenzie, on 27 July 1838.1 He died on 22 May 1862 at age 59.1
     Philip Anstruther held the office of Colonial Secretary of Ceylon.1
