     Louisa Horartia Powys is the daughter of Thomas Powys, 1st Baron Lilford.¹ She married Reverend William Marsh, son of Colonel Sir Charles Marsh and Catherine Case, on 3 March 1848.¹
     From 3 March 1848, her married name became Marsh.¹

     Lieutenant Henry Anstruther was born circa 1836.¹ He was the son of Sir Ralph Abercromby Anstruther of Balcaskie, 4th Bt. and Mary Jane Torrens.¹ He died on 20 September 1854 at Alma, Russia, killed in action.¹
     Lieutenant Henry Anstruther gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.¹ He fought in the Battle of Alma on 20 September 1854.¹

Sir James Carmichael, 2nd Earl of Hyndford and Lady Elizabeth Maitland.¹ She married Sir John Anstruther of Anstruther, 1st Bt., son of Sir William Anstruther and Lady Helen Hamilton, on 24 January 1716/17 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ She died on 6 November 1721.¹ She was buried at Elie Church, Elie, Fife, Scotland.¹
     From 24 January 1716/17, her married name became Anstruther.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Sir James Carmichael, 2nd Earl of Hyndford was born before 1686. He was the son of Sir John Carmichael, 1st Earl of Hyndford and Hon. Beatrix Drummond.² He married Lady Elizabeth Maitland, daughter of John Maitland, 5th Earl of Lauderdale.³ He died on 16 August 1737.³
     Brig.-Gen. Sir James Carmichael, 2nd Earl of Hyndford was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in 1704.³ He gained the rank of Colonel of Dragoons in 1706.³ He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in 1710.³ He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Carmichael, of Westraw and Hyndford, co. Lanark [N.S., 1627] on 20 September 1710.⁴ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Earl of Hyndford [S., 1701] on 20 September 1710.³ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Viscount Inglisberry and Nemphlar [S., 1701] on 20 September 1710.³ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Carmichael of Carmichael [S., 1701] on 20 September 1710.³

     Lady Elizabeth Maitland was the daughter of John Maitland, 5th Earl of Lauderdale.² She married Brig.-Gen. Sir James Carmichael, 2nd Earl of Hyndford, son of Sir John Carmichael, 1st Earl of Hyndford and Hon. Beatrix Drummond.¹ She died on 27 November 1753.¹
     Her married name became Carmichael.¹ As a result of her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Maitland was styled as Countess of Hyndford on 20 September 1710.

     Sir John Anstruther of that Ilk, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 December 1718 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He was born on 27 December 1718.² He was the son of Sir John Anstruther of Anstruther, 1st Bt. and Lady Margaret Carmichael.¹ He married Janet Fall, daughter of James Fall and Jean Murray, on 4 October 1750 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He died on 4 July 1799 at age 80.¹
     Sir John Anstruther of that Ilk, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Anstruther, of Anstruther and of Elie House, co. Fife [N.S., 1700] on 21 September 1753.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Anstruther-Easter Burghs between 1766 and 1782.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Anstruther-Easter Burghs between 1790 and 1793.¹

     Janet Fall was born circa 1717.¹ She was the daughter of James Fall and Jean Murray.¹ She married Sir John Anstruther of that Ilk, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Anstruther of Anstruther, 1st Bt. and Lady Margaret Carmichael, on 4 October 1750 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ She died on 17 February 1802.¹
     From 4 October 1750, her married name became Anstruther.¹
