Sir Edmund Antrobus, 1st Bt. was the son of Philip Antrobus and Mary Rowley.1 He died on 6 February 1826, unmarried.1
He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.).1 He was invested as a Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.).1 He purchased Antrobus Hall.1 He was created 1st Baronet Antrobus, of Antrobus, co. Palatine of Chester [U.K.] on 22 May 1815, with special remainder to his nephew.1

Colonel Sir Edmund Antrobus, 4th Bt. was born on 25 December 1848.1 He was the son of Sir Edmund Antrobus, 3rd Bt. and Marianne Georgiana Dashwood.1 He married Florence Caroline Mathilde Sartoris, daughter of Jules Alexander Sartoris, on 2 March 1886.1 He died on 11 February 1915 at age 66, without surviving issue.1
He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Grenadier Guards.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Antrobus, of Antrobus, co. Palatine of Chester [U.K., 1815] on 1 April 1899.1
