     2nd Lt. Robert Ian FitzGerald Arbuthnot was born on 8 October 1933.1 He was the son of Hugh FitzGerald Arbuthnot and Kathleen Phyllis Sheppard.1 He died on 25 December 1953 at age 20 at Korea, from gunshot wounds while on active service.1
     2nd Lt. Robert Ian FitzGerald Arbuthnot usually went by his middle name of Robin.1 He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment.1 He fought in the Korean War.
