     Ada Jane Evelyn was the daughter of William John Evelyn and Frances Harriet Chichester.^1,2 She married Philip Stewart Mackenzie Arbuthnot, son of William Reierson Arbuthnot and Mary Helen Anstruther, on 11 December 1906.¹ She died on 14 October 1946.¹
      From 11 December 1906, her married name became Arbuthnot.¹

     William John Evelyn was born on 27 July 1822.³ He was the son of George Evelyn and Mary Jane Massy-Dawson.³ He married Frances Harriet Chichester, daughter of Reverend George Vaughan Chichester, on 28 October 1873.³ He died on 26 June 1908 at age 85.³

      From 15 December 1931, her married name became Colvin.¹ She was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).¹

     Captain Ivan Beale Colvin was the son of Lt.-Col. Cecil Hodgson Colvin.¹ He married Joyce Frances Arbuthnot, daughter of Keith Fraser Arbuthnot and Mabel Constance Elizabeth Robertson, on 15 December 1931.¹ He died on 12 October 1962.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He lived at Kilmeston, Hampshire, England.²
