     Archibald Campbell, 3rd of Inverawe was the son of Archibald Campbell, 2nd of Inverawe.1 He married Margaret Campbell, daughter of Captain unknown Campbell of Dunstaffnage.1 He died after 18 January 1569/70.1
     On 8 March 1539/40 he settled a land dispute with his Chief and kinsman, 5th Earl of Argyll.1 On 28 October 1558 he was grnated the lands of Auchnacraif in Lorne.1 On 13 November 1561 he resigned his lands in favour of his son.1

     Margaret Campbell was born before 1547. She was the daughter of Captain unknown Campbell of Dunstaffnage.1 She married Archibald Campbell, 3rd of Inverawe, son of Archibald Campbell, 2nd of Inverawe.1 She died after 1567.1

     Dougall Campbell, 4th of Inverawe was the son of Archibald Campbell, 3rd of Inverawe and Margaret Campbell.1 He married Christiane Carswell, daughter of John Carswell.1 He died before 1587.1
     In 1548 he held the sergeantry (feudal deputy) of of the island of Lismore (near Oban).1 He was Court Officer of a Justice Court held by the 6th Earl of Argyll on 20 April 1576.1
