     Sir Sheffield Austen, 5th Bt. was born circa 1700.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Austen, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Stawell.1 He married Susanna (?).1 He died before 1758, without issue.1 His will (dated 28 October 1743) was probated on 17 November 1758.1
     Sir Sheffield Austen, 5th Bt. succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Austen, of [Hall Place in] Bexley, co. Kent [E., 1660] on 7 October 1743.1

     Susanna (?) married Sir Sheffield Austen, 5th Bt., son of Sir Robert Austen, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Stawell.1 Her will was probated in January 1773 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, and again in May 1774 and 1780.1
     Her married name became Austen.1

     Sir Edward Austen, 6th Bt. was born circa 1705.1 He was the son of Robert Austen and Jane Strode.1,2 He died on 16 December 1760, unmarried.1 He was buried on 28 December 1760 at Allington, Kent, England.2 His will was probated in 1761.2
     Sir Edward Austen, 6th Bt. succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Austen, of [Hall Place in] Bexley, co. Kent [E., 1660] before 1758, and "of Boxley Abbey, co. Kent."1

     Sir Robert Austen, 7th Bt. was born circa 1708.1 He was the son of Robert Austen and Jane Strode.1 He married Ann Richardson, daughter of John Richardson and Ann Robinson, on 23 June 1755.2 He died on 13 February 1772, without issue.1 He was buried at Godalming, Surrey, England.1 His will was probated in February 1772.1
     Sir Robert Austen, 7th Bt. matriculated at Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 11 December 1725.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Austen, of [Hall Place in] Bexley, co. Kent [E., 1660] on 16 December 1760, and "of Haslemere, Surrey."1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     Sir John Austen, 1st Bt. was the son of Thomas Austen and Arabella Forset.1 He died on 22 March 1741/42, unmarried.1 His will (dated 8 November 1740) was probated on 22 March 1741/42.1
     Sir John Austen, 1st Bt. held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Middlesex from 1701 to 1702.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Middlesex between 1708 and 1710.1 In 1710 he sold Tyburn Manor to John Holles, Duke of Newcastle.1 He was created 1st Baronet Austen, of Derhams [in South Mims], co. Middlesex [Great Britain] on 16 November 1714.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Middlesex between 1722 and 1727.1 In 1723 he sold the Manor of Highbury, in Islington.1 In 1733 he sold the reversion of the Manor of Derhams.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
