     Anne Muns was born circa 1613.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Muns.1 She married Sir Robert Austen, 1st Bt., son of William Austen and Elizabeth Hales.1 She died on 28 October 1687.1 She was buried on 3 November 1687 at Bexley, Kent, England.1 Her will was probated in December 1687.1
     Her married name became Austen.1

     Sir John Austen, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1634.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Austen, 1st Bt. and Anne Muns.1 He and Rose Hale obtained a marriage license on 6 December 1661.1 He died in 1698 at Red Lion Square, London, England.1 His will (dated 27 March 1687/8) was probated on 27 September 1699.1
     Sir John Austen, 2nd Bt. was admitted to Gray's Inn on 23 October 1657.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Austen, of [Hall Place in] Bexley, co. Kent [E., 1660] on 30 October 1666, and "of Stagenhoe, Herts."1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Rye between October 1669 and 1679.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Rye from 1689 to 1690.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Rye between 1695 and 1698.1 He held the office of Commissioner of the Customs from 1697 to 1698.1

     From 6 December 1661, her married name became Austen.1
