     Sir Nicholas Bacon, 1st Bt. was baptised on 31 October 1623.1 He was the son of Nicholas Bacon and Margaret Darcy.1 He and Elizabeth Freston obtained a marriage license on 31 May 1647.1 He died on 3 August 1666 at age 42.1 He was buried on 4 August 1666 at Gillingham, Norfolk, England.1
     Sir Nicholas Bacon, 1st Bt. was admitted to Gray's Inn on 18 June 1639.1 He was created 1st Baronet Bacon, of Gillingham [St. Mary], co. Norfolk [England] on 7 February 1661/62.1

     Elizabeth Freston was born circa 1627.1 She was the daughter of Richard Freston.1 She and Sir Nicholas Bacon, 1st Bt. obtained a marriage license on 31 May 1647.1 She married, secondly, Sir William Godbold on 14 April 1670.1
     From 31 May 1647, her married name became Bacon.1 From 14 April 1670, her married name became Godbold.1

     Sir Edmund Bacon, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1660.1 He was the son of Sir Nicholas Bacon, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Freston.1 He died circa November 1683, unmarried.1 He was buried on 5 November 1683 at Gillingham, Norfolk, England.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 25 June 1684.1
     Sir Edmund Bacon, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Bacon, of Gillingham [St. Mary], co. Norfolk [E., 1662] on 3 August 1666.1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 6 November 1669.1

     Sir Richard Bacon, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Bacon, of Gillingham [St. Mary], co. Norfolk [E., 1662] in November 1683.2
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.2
